Using stock photography is an affordable way to generate a design for your vehicle wrap. However, your marketing tactic won’t make the returns your initial investment demands. Making your brand stand out from the competition takes an extra nudge when it comes to commercial vehicle graphics. Upgrade your commercial fleet wraps with commercial photography to set yourself apart from the pack.

The Importance of Commercial Vehicle Graphics

Commercial photography helps to strengthen your brand identity and perception and increases your chances of earning revenue. Curating a seamless commercial vinyl wrap takes some calculations and high-quality photos. We’ll tell you how vehicle wraps benefit from commercial photography and give you a few tips for success.

High-Quality Photographs Help To Create Your Brand Identity

The visuals you choose to represent your brand and advertise your company are crucial. Visual mediums like commercial fleet wraps and photography allow you to present your company in the best light, whether it’s serious, humorous, or lighthearted. In addition, it communicates that you value quality and professionalism, regardless of your individuality.

Customers Are More Likely To Make A Purchase After Seeing Professional Photographs

Images on your website and social media accounts are often people’s first impressions of your company. The same goes for one of your business’s cars driving around in traffic. Therefore, putting your best foot forward is crucial if you want to build a name for your company.

Nowadays, people consume media at a higher rate, so your commercial vehicle graphics in common areas like a parking lot need to stand out. Going the extra mile from the beginning is how you can leave an impression in your customer’s minds.

Use Professional Photographs That Accurately Represent Your Brand

Pictures and videos of your actual office, employees, and company offer potential clients an opportunity to get to know you before they ever set foot in your establishment. Authenticity is more readily accepted than forced or staged marketing in today’s world. A professional photo in your commercial vehicle graphic can capture an authentic representation of your business’s brand.

This is particularly crucial in professional services, where establishing and maintaining a rapport with clients is essential to a company’s success (think the banking and medical sectors). Though stock images are available, they won’t give off a genuine impression to buyers since they don’t depict your authentic product, service, or company.

Build Rapport With Your Clientele

Customers visiting your website after seeing your commercial fleet wraps are curious about who you are, what you do, and why. One study after another has shown that consumers are more willing to conduct business with someone they already know and trust. Stock images don’t make them stand out, and they might even mislead customers about the quality of your products. Genuine images of your company, employees, and products are the ideal approach to introduce prospective buyers to your brand.

Professional Photography Provides Commercial Vehicle Graphics with Quality

Even the best smartphone camera cannot match the quality of photographs taken by professionals. Years of expertise, along with the high-grade equipment professionals use, ensure that the finished pictures are of the highest possible quality. It can also ensure that they are ideal for whatever platform you want to use them on. Having vivid images on your vehicle wraps makes them stand out and makes the finished product more appealing than fuzzy stock images.

Gain A Competitive Marketing Edge Through Professional Photographs

Professional-looking, eye-catching photographs may increase the likelihood that a potential customer will click on your Google Ad, and interact with your social media posts. Similarly, they’re also more likely to send you an email inquiry or call your business. Professional photographs on your commercial fleet wraps can significantly improve a company’s standard, leading to better products and happier clients.

Incorporating Commercial Vehicle Graphics Into Wraps

Before we wrap your vehicle, our designers at Roadrunner create commercial vehicle graphics and then apply them to a template. Some companies use Adobe Photoshop to do this part of the process. Due to Photoshop’s versatility, incorporating your professional photograph into the design takes some finesse. Still, a seasoned professional would be able to do so seamlessly.

Please communicate your branding goals, design goals, and overall project vision and provide a PNG version of your images for the wrap.

Required Measurements of a Wrap

This part requires a bit of math. Companies typically use 150 dpi to generate the full-size wrap for commercial vinyl wraps on cars.

Dots per inch (dpi) requirements for most printed products typically range between 300 and 600. Printing a brochure or image at 72 dpi would make the image fuzzy. However, looking at the proportions of your file, 78″ x 52″, it would only be hazy if we printed it at the original size or larger.

For example, multiplying each dimension by 72 yields the image’s total number of pixels: (78 x 72) + (52 x 72) = 5616 pixels by 3744 pixels.

By dividing the total number of pixels by the 150 dpi print resolution needed for car wraps, we get dimensions of 37.44 inches by 24.96 inches. This will be a bit smaller than the 101″ x 96″ region. However, a handful of these photographs in that area may be excellent.

Because we are compressing all the dpi into a smaller area, that 72 dpi picture might be printed on the vinyl (300 dpi) as big as 18.72″ x 12.48″ for brand consistency. The dots get closer together the more we lower the size. Pixelation would occur if you were to enlarge the photographs to print size since the dots would become too wide apart. (Keep in mind that 72 dpi is the standard for online content.)
